Believe it if you can…
-Son of Man
Leadership is a dangerous spirit. Leadership spirit is very, very controversial and it is a political spirit. That is why God Himself makes His own instrument for leadership divine. Thus, nobody can compete for it, it is a matter of destiny and there is no competition in destiny for it is predetermined before the world began.
Without the Apostles, nobody will know the fulfilment of any prophecy or scriptures. Thus, anybody worshipping God where there is no Apostle and Prophet is worshipping in blindness.
That is what makes his congregation the congregation of the dead
...No Pastors can hear the voice of God, no Teacher can hear the voice of God, no Evangelist can hear the voice of God. Rather you pastor from the laid down teaching, you evangelise from the laid down teachings, you teach to help them to understand the laid down doctrines.
-Son of Man
PP 65 VS 55; 60 VS 40-42

Isaiah 42:6 I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles.”KJV

“Who is this that cometh from Edom, with DYED GARMENTS from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, traveling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save.”
Isaiah 63:1  KJV.

“Which in his times he shall show, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;
Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honor and power everlasting. Amen.” 1 Timothy 6:14-15 KJV

Malachi 1:11 For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith the LORD of hosts.

Isaiah 42:9, “Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.” KJV.
2.                  Note, Before these new things will spring forth, before they will rear up their heads, before they will come out of this world, I will tell you ahead of time.
3.                  One, so that you will not attribute it to the devil and commit sin against the Holy Ghost. That is why this ministry is full of predictions, prophecies, FORETELLING the future easily; Telling you ahead of time, that so, so and so will happen in the end. that So, so and so must surely come to pass, So that you will know them ahead of time even when it was impossible to believe. If you are not told ahead of time, you will not condition your mind.
4.                  I have told you now that God has left the written word. by the written word no flesh is saved for now. That is why I told you that we are closest to hell now than Heaven because: IF YOU by pass one spoken word, you bypass eternal life and the spoken word IS in no other place than in the Fivefold Ministry.
5.                  Note, Christ is no longer in the sermon books, Christ is not in the Bible again; Christ is now in the Fivefold Ministry, and the Fivefold Ministry is not in the world. The Fivefold Ministry is in the Church. I am talking to you in this message by revelation, by knowledge. I am talking to you by prophecy, by doctrine.
6.                  Thus, hear ye Him the Fivefold Ministry. In other words, hear ye Him the Church. Christ has now come back to where He belongs. Hence, He could finish His work and complete it.
7.                  Isaiah 43 verse 19, “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert...” KJV.
8.                  I tell you why it has never been easy for the Church at Onitsha to ordain Elders, to ordain ministers, to ordain Deacons. However, now, I am declaring that God has completed everything that He needed to ordain this office. But I speak it to your shame that you do not know God.
10.              He is going ahead to do what He has promised in His Word just for His Name’s sake: To redeem His image, that is what He is doing now. Otherwise, if He is to stand by the righteousness of this Church; nobody will reverend Him. Not even one person. If He should stand by the righteousness of this Church, not one person is qualified. He is crowning this Church by His own righteousness, in other words, He is crowning Himself.
11.              Isaiah 43 verse 19-21, “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
12.              The beast of the field shall honor me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen. This people have I formed for myself; they shall show forth my praise.” KJV.
13.              It requires Almighty God to form people for Himself that will show forth His praise, not their own praise. He will form them by Himself, He will choose them.
14.              Isaiah 46 verse 9-10 “Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done...”
15.              What! From ancient times, things no man could think of; He will declare them and they will come into existence.
16.              “...saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure.” KJV.
17.               What is more, I will do all that I have purposed. Thus, it is not what we have purposed, no. God is doing that which He Himself has purposed: He has decided He will save you, He has decided He will bring you people unto Himself. Hence, He is doing as He has purposed. Looking at us in this Church, we have no headway.
18.              Isaiah 48 verse 16, “Come ye near unto me, hear ye this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there am I: and now the Lord GOD, and his Spirit, hath sent me.” KJV.
19.               God has never declared anything in secret, there has never been any time He made any move without witnesses and today will not be an exception. If the Lord has sent Me, He must equally bring people that will bear witness that they were present.
20.              Note it, if they were not present from different Churches—even when nobody invited them—ON THE DAY THE PHOTOGRAPH WAS TAKEN; today, many might be doubting.
21.              However, because He drew many witnesses unto Himself, nobody invited them; but the Spirit of God brought them. That is why they can boldly stand and say, “We were there! That which our eyes saw, our ears heard, our hands handled—even the Word of Truth that we declared, no mistake about it.”
22.              Why were they able to believe the Apostles? They were very certain of whom the Apostles were. They were certain from the source where they were getting the message. When you are certain that the man is getting His messages from somewhere, it will be easier for you to believe Him.
23.              I am saying that when you know the source from where a man gets his messages, to believe him becomes very easy. That is why our Brother Nnachor was preaching in the Church by the inspiration of the Holy Ghost, saying, “Church be very careful now. Many of you that have been thinking that a man is talking to you, but now it has become clear to all that He that has been talking to us is the One that is inside the Apostle. That is the man that has been giving Him what He has been giving to us. Thus, you cannot say Brother Odoemena is saying, rather you will say God is saying through Brother Ododemena.”
24.              As a result, the matter has become clearer now. I think the only way to do away with unbelief is to put unbelief to eternal rest, so that it cannot rise up again, so he that doubts will not doubt me. No wonder the Apostles said, “If you believe not, you do not disbelieve us but you disbelieve God.”
25.              Because as they were talking, it was God in them that was talking to the Church. Hence, if any man doubts or disbelieves, they will not quarrel with you; the matter becomes a matter between you and your God.
26.              This time around, I want you to bring God into real business. It is not a time you will sleep, rather a time you will open your ears wide and I will stock your ears with something. I do not care whether these Messages are in the tape, but as far as this day is a special day for them; I have to declare them. Amen.

St. Matthew chapter 16 verse 18, “And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” KJV.
2.                  Ephesians chapter 2 verse 19-20, “Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and Prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone.” KJV.
3.                  Colossians chapter 1 verse 18 “And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.” KJV.
4.                  I want to address a very nutty issue. I commanded you to make your nominations on the people you really want to be ordained in this Church as Elders or Bishops, Deacons, Pastors and so on. Thus, you make the objections, while I make the nominations.
5.                  Now I decided to go the other way round that you make the nominations and allow Me to do the objections. This day being 30th June 1996, we have clocked exactly three years and six months as a Church of the living God, restored to the Apostolic Faith and Doctrine.
6.                  This day also, for reasons I do not know, it has pleased Almighty God that this matter of ordaining of Deacons, Elders and Bishops will be put to rest. If we do not succeed this time, let it be known to you that we must close our eyes and forfeit it forever and ever. For there will not be any other opportunity that will be given to us again.
7.                  What is more, I am happy that Almighty God Himself has drawn from other Churches some ministers to witness for themselves what the Spirit is saying to Onitsha Church and perhaps to some other Churches I may be privileged to visit and to ordain all these offices.
8.                  From where we read in St. Matthew chapter 16 verse 18 said that Almighty God in the personality of Jesus Christ said, “Upon this Rock I will build my Church and no man born of a woman has any right to contend with Him over His own property.”
9.                  Any man that is contending with Christ over His Church in not an intruder but a robber. Note it, he is not only an intruder but also a robber. He has decided to be the Head of State, and the only Head of State of His Body, the Church. For He is the Head of the Body which is the Church.
10.              Furthermore, this is His Church which He Himself is the Head, He has decided also within Himself without consulting any human being to lay this precious foundation of His Church with the Spoken Word that will proceed out of the mouth of His servants the Apostles and Prophets.
11.              In other words, without the words of His servants the Apostles and Prophets, there is no way His Church could be established or can be established.
12.              Any Church that is here on Earth, established outside the words spoken by the Apostles and Prophets vindicated from God, that Church is a counterfeit Church. It can never save any soul, for it is not of God.  It is satanic, manmade, Earthly and sensual. It is more or less a business centre. Or you may even call it a philanthropic organization. It is a social club.
13.              This last description perfectly describes what we have on the land today. They are mere social clubs, places of entertainment where people will go to make some jests, some caressing, some rock and roll music and so on.
14.              They are all fulfilling the words of William Branham in a message titled “The God of This Evil Age.” He said, “In the last days, what will be left in the Pentecostals will be speaking in tongue, miracles, signs and wonders, and rock and roll music.” He said that God will be decreed out. In other words, he is now trying to tell us that what St. John saw in the book of revelation is truth.
15.              God reveal to St. John the revelator, the spirit that will be on Earth that will cause men to work miracles and the whole world will see that spirit that is not from God. Besides, the Bible calls it the spirit of fraud. If you look at all the general superintendents, ministers in Pentecostals today, they are just like frog with very thick neck that join their head with their back with their cheek very fatty and heavy faces.
16.              Look at Emma Okpara, look at Paul Nweke, look at Idahosa, Ayo Orishajefor and all of them; fraudsters! Who knows these things better than the Almighty God? Every description in the Bible is purely human. If God says “snake,” watch out for somebody that will reflect the character of a snake. The person is very slinky and sliming; fine in appearance, very gentle but extremely harmful. If you hear that the person has done this and this, you will marvel. Very gentle in appearance, but very poisonous.
17.              I am saying that no man can have a perfect description of the hour we are living in except the Almighty God for He declares the end from the beginning.
18.              Watch the whole frogs you see on the land today, you can hardly see one looking lean. The people we met at the Holy Child Nursery School, they were very fearful with their beards and bulged eyes. You know frogs have bulged eyes.
19.              Thus, from any way you look at it, even when they want to perform the miracles, signs and wonders; watch out how they will gather. Take a look at them that time, you will see nothing but frogs. In other words, the Prophet of God has told us that whatever they will be doing in the name of speaking in tongue, rock and roll music, signs and wonders, and miracles, that the hand of God is not there for God has already be decreed out.
20.              We are going somewhere. Remember that in the last days Satan will perform great signs and wonders, and miracles; also aiming at deceiving the elect.
21.              That is why we have never followed cunningly devised fables, we are eyewitnesses of His majesty when He came down in diverse ways and spoke to us. We could hear Him.
22.              Among all Churches today made up of women, you can hardly see a group that can boldly stand and say that the Lord came down and declared to them. You can hardly hear them, not even one.
23.              When they want to say it out of jealousy, it is just mere lying. For God can never have two people on Earth. HE MUST ONLY HAVE “A PEOPLE” UNTO HIMSELF, NOT “PEOPLES.”
24.              Thus, wherever this message is preached, it is only to them that are raised people unto God. Amen.

I am speaking to the whole Church on THE ADMINISTRATIVE SETUP OF THE CHURCH. I spoke to the ministers in the ministers’ meeting many years ago in a little topic I titled “The Organization of the Church.” Thus, this message you can call it “Organization of the Church” also.
2.                  However, for better clarity of understanding, I titled it “The Administrative Setup of the Church, hence you will see how the Church of God is perfectly administered. Then when we see how the Church is being administered, we can now fill in the vacant positions.
3.                  For example, in the office like in the bank, you can have the security men, messengers, cashiers, supervisors and so many drivers. If there are some vacancies for the post of drivers, it means there are vehicles but no drivers. Thus, it must be published.
4.                  First, the publication will start in the bank before it will go outside. The same way they will publish other vacant positions. However, before then, there must be established positions.
5.                  Let us now lay the established positions in the Church, and then we can find out which positions are still vacant till today.
6.                  From the scriptures, we can see whether they can be filled or not. Remember in God’s programme, no position should be vacant. That was why immediately Judas Iscariot left, the position was filled.
7.                  God handed the number for any local Church, so those positions must not be left vacant. We will fill up the positions. Now I am coming closer.
8.                  In the administrative setup of the Church, the Owner of the Church, that is, the founder, is Christ. Now, He laid the foundation of the Church on the Apostles and Prophets. This Prophet here, people misunderstand the work so much.
9.                  2nd Peter chapter 1 verse 19-21, “And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.
10.              We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
11.              Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the Scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.” KJV.
12.              Holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. No prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. The prophecy came not out by the will of man but by the will of God. In other words, the duty of the Prophet is to declare God’s will to the Church. Unwritten God’s will, something that is in the mind of God concerning the Church, he will declare it, you search through the scriptures and you cannot see it.
13.              The Prophet is a guide to the Apostle. That was why Silas was assigned to Paul. Although Paul was a Prophet, yet Silas as a Prophet was assigned to Paul. This was the same ministry of Agabus in the Church for which cause Agabus was able to tell Paul what was awaiting him in Jerusalem; and that was the will of God for St. Paul.
14.              Before anything will come to pass, it must be foretold by God, for God is going to do a new thing. In other words, before that new thing will come to pass, He will declare it unto us through His servant the Prophet.
15.              In the Church there must be somebody, there must be some brethren men or women, like we could see in the case of the daughters of Philips. The Bible said that they were Prophetesses in the Church. Whatever they prophesied, was not written in the Bible. However, they prophesied something which came to pass, which made the whole Church and Apostles to acknowledge them to be Prophetesses.
16.              You see why I tell you that the written word is incomplete, but the Spoken Word is complete. If I will ask you to tell me these daughters’ prophecies that made them Prophetesses, where will you lay your hand?
17.              It is just like looking into the whole scriptures and tell you what Clement preached, tell me what Titus preached or what Timothy preached. You cannot see any trace of what they preached, yet they were in the Bible.
18.              All I am trying to say is that they preached what Saint Paul preached. What they learnt from Saint Paul is what they preached. In other words, they were messengers of the same message.
19.              Titus will never go out to preach the message of his own. Timothy did not preach any message of his own. There was nobody that said I have a message, Clement and so many of them that I cannot pronounce their names. There are many, many names that are Hebrew names; very difficult to pronounce here that walked with St. Paul, preached messages here on Earth. It is only in one place that you can see what Demas preached, a statement he made.
20.              The ministry of the Prophets in the Church is a very important one. That is why we do not neglect prophecies. If you neglect prophecies, you are quenching the move of the Holy Ghost.
21.              Thus, when we come together we must expect inspired messages from Heaven; declaring unto us the mind of God concerning us in every hour. Because a Prophet in our midst is one that is in direct link with Almighty God.
22.              Now the duty of the Apostles in the Church is to tell you to believe the prophecies or not to believe because whatever the prophet prophesied is reflecting in the Apostle. Why? The Apostle is one that is in the office of the person that is inspiring him to prophesy.
23.              I am saying that the Prophet is only confirming or telling you something ahead of time, so that when the Apostle will begin to tell you that thing, you will believe because what he is prophesying is the mind of the Apostle. Somebody did not get it.
24.              The Prophet in your midst is prophesying nothing but what is in the Apostle, so that you will expect it. When it comes, you will know that you heard about it ahead of time. Then when the Apostle will start talking to you, He is talking to you with the prophecy you already heard: God leading the Prophet to prepare your mind ahead of time on what to expect.
25.              Like we heard a bit of the message, “Do not ever depart from my word for my word will be your guide, will be your leader.” Then God Who knew my heart, who is in me has inspired our brother to prophesy pointing all of you to the word.
26.              Then the Apostle comes on the scene with the Word. The Prophets prophesy, pointing you to the Word. By that time the Word was not in existence. If you were asked, which word was he pointing you to? You are at loss. You do not know whether he was pointing you to Abraham or to Moses or to Elijah. You do not know whether He is pointing you to Sabbath, because all of them are the words of Almighty God.
27.              Thus, God had already told you something to expect, His word to be your guide and your leader. In other words, somebody holds that Word. Somebody is coming to tell you the Word whereby you anchor your faith.
28.              Have you now seen the prophecy coming to pass? That is why I try as much as I can to live very far from the Pastor. It is for your own good. Because I know he had a bit of prophecy, he equally knows that I am a Prophet. Thus, I try as much as I can to live far away from him so that I can hardly discuss with him. Every man will now operate according to the level of the gift that is in him.
29.              If I have met him in the past two days or we met somewhere or he came to my house maybe the previous day, somebody might be thinking the way things went during prophecy; maybe we planned it. Pastor will come out and prophecy, while the Apostle will come to the pulpit and take over. It is just like a drama which we have not even seen before.
30.              However, while I was there, I knew when the ministry finished. The moment the ministry finished, he could not go back. He was stopped there, there he stopped he could not go back. Moreover, there was no way he can go back. If he makes the mistake of going back, he will be at loss. He will not know where to start again.
31.              That is the purpose of asking him to go and open the fellowship so that he will prepare you, prepare your hearts, pointing you to what you should expect. Hence, he paved the way, his ministry stops there; there he stops.
32.              Then we can now see the Apostle on the scene holding the Word. He is holding that Word. It is just like you heard, “I am going to speak to you. My servant will declare to you many things, hard. I have anointed my servant, I have told Him what to do.”
33.              Now you have heard the prophecy, that is the will of God that time. It is the mind of God; He has something for you already but that thing is stored somewhere (in the Apostle). Then through that servant, the Prophet, He has heralded you what you should expect. Thus, your ears will be open. Hence, if somebody mounts the pulpit, you know that it is God that has mounted the pulpit. Then you expect to hear that thing which He promised to say because your heart is now ready to hear that which He promised that He will say. What is more, all that you will hear till you will go that day will be all He has purposed for you.
34.              That is how God establishes the Church. Now Christ speaks to the Apostles and Prophets; the Apostles and Prophets now will commit the whole matter into the hands of the Elders in the Church. Brethren, you see that this position is a very sensitive position.
35.              Remember I am speaking to you on the administrative setup of the Church. The moment you know this administrative setup, you will not have problem anymore.
36.              Now these Elders, I will show you something that will marvel you. In the Elders, you will see what formed the Elders of the Church.
37.              Many a time people are confused about the issue of Bishops. Because you are always confused about the ministers, that was why I threw the whole matter open for you to do your nominations: Those you want to fill office of the Bishops, those you want to fill the office of Pastors and office of Elders.
38.              Now, by Elders I mean and the Bible means; one, Pastor; two, Bishop. Finally, Apostle.
39.              Get it right here, when you hear Elders, this office of the “Elders” is just like saying Father, Son, Holy Ghost. Or, son, father, husband. Father, son, husband; or Pastor, Bishop, Apostle. They are all Elders.
40.              When you say Pastor, Bishop; Apostle; you are all referring to the same office. However, now, this Apostle, Bishop; Pastor is only a description of the work that is assigned to each one of the Elders.
41.              This one can be a clerical work, this one can be a security work; this one can be a messenger. Thus, Pastor, Bishop and Apostle means the work that is assigned to any of the Elders in the Church.
42.              Now as we continue, you will see from your Bible that Apostle Judas was a Bishop and was also an overseer. How many knows that? Is it scriptures? How many have come across it in the Bible?
43.              This is teaching! I am testing everybody. All that want to be ordained, all that want Me to lay hands and impart the gift into them; there must be a test. If you fail the test, blame yourself.
44.              Acts chapter 1 verse 20, “For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his habitation be desolate, and let no man dwell therein: and his bishopric position, let another take...”
45.              Note, his bishopric position, let another take. Is it in your Bible like that? In Acts chapter 1 verse 20, you will see that a Bishop is no other person but an overseer. That is why as we continue in the Bible in this message, you will know when you are recommending somebody for the post of a Bishop; you are recommending him for the post of a Pastor. When you are recommending him for the post of an Elder.
46.              Acts chapter 1 verse 20, “For in the book of psalms it is written, let his place of residence become deserted and gloomy, and let there be no one live in it; and [again], let another take his position or overseership”. Amp.
47.              Note, Let another take his position or overseer-ship. If you do not get the diagram which is the background, you cannot get what I am saying.
48.              I am speaking to you on the administrative setup of the Church. Young men in this Church, be very careful, because this day you will have the authority to go to other Churches and ordain Elders.
49.              Then from the Bible you see that I have the power here and I can confer the same power on somebody even to ordain an apostle. I say I have the power, the Church holds the power also to ordain somebody an apostle; provided I am convinced and I am certain that Almighty God is guiding me into the selection. If I have seen apostolic sign that followed a brother in the ministry, and I am certain about it, I have the authority to ordain him without asking you to cast lots.
50.              However, where an ordained apostle has fallen from his position and I can see some that are well-informed with the events in the Church, that have followed this message from the very beginning and can testify of this truth, but I only want to fill a position and not two; that is, I only have one vacant post but with more than two qualifiers, I will only take one person from the lot.
51.              That is why because of the curiosity of the Church, I may ask you to cast the lot between the two. Mathias and his friends were all qualified, but only one position was vacant for that time. In other words, God had already sealed the position.
52.              Who knows that God sealed the position? It must be Peter who holds the key and who has the authority to feed the flock. There, you can see Peter was not only to lay down the doctrine as the Apostle; St. Peter was also an Elder. What made him an Elder was his position as the flock feeder: “Peter, do you love my flock?” He said yes. “Feed my flock. Do you love me? Feed my sheep.” With what? With the hidden manna.
53.              By that, Peter was made a shepherd. By that Peter became a Pastor. That was why the position of Peter in the twelve Apostles was Pastor. Peter occupied the position of a Pastor.
54.              That was why in that Church in Jerusalem, Peter was number one man. Note it, the number one man in every local Church is the Pastor and not the Apostle. The god of every local Church is the Pastor. Because he was not alone, there were other ministers; that is why any moment he stood up, as you could see in Acts of the Apostles chapter one, he stood up with the eleven.
55.              Immediately he stood up, the eleven rose up also to give him a back up. The eleven did not speak but Peter was speaking. The eleven were standing, saying, “Yes sir! It is true! Go ahead!” That was how it happened because they were only given a sword.
56.              But not when you come into the Church today and I ordain you a Pastor, then you rise up to overthrow your Pastor in the pulpit, you bring confusion. For more than one head in a Church will misdirect the Church.
57.              It is just like a man with two heads. One man with two heads will be a fearful man and will be losing steps. When one head wants to go this way, the other one will want to go the other way. In other words, he is not going anywhere.
58.              In this message you will see that all we need in one local Church is one Pastor, there can be many other Pastors and Elders; there can be many other Bishops and Elders; their duty is to rise up and to stay behind Peter when Peter is declaring.
59.              No wonder Christ is not in other place than in the Fivefold Ministry. That is why they cannot contradict one another. Inside them now, there will be diversity of gifts. Moreover, by the gift now, it is the gift that will determine where the person will feature. It is the gift that is bestowed in you that will determine the type of work that will be assigned to you. For your own work is where you will perform very well. Wherever you perform best becomes your own office, yet that does not remove you as an Elder.
60.              Thus, from these Elders now you can see something: if you are eloquent and can declare Good News with every boldness, then you can go evangelical. You become an evangelist which is nothing but a proclaimer of Good News; proclaiming on the same spirit for by one spirit are we all baptised into one body.
61.              However, because of the nature of your work, as an evangelist, you will not be resident in the Church, you are outside. For that reason, any time Elders are called upon, you will not be there because you just come in and go out, the Church cannot depend on you. Thus, we can only benefit from you anytime you come inside.
62.              Remember I am talking to you on the administrative setup of the Church. So far I am on the background, let us go into the Word. Otherwise, somebody might be thinking that the Apostle is telling stories. Amen.

The hour has come for me to leave you because you cannot accuse Me of withholding anything. All these years, I have tarried with you in this Church for three years and six months; day and night, talking to you, sharing everything in common with you.
2.                  Thus, if I am leaving you now, I am not leaving you very early. Do not pray that I should not leave you for the hour has come for Me to depart.
3.                  First Corinthians chapter 12 verse 28, “And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.” KJV.
4.                  Note, miracle workers or miracle, that is not office. Now let us consider these three important offices: one, Apostle; two, Prophet; three, Teacher. If we stop here, the position of Pastor is absent. The position of the evangelist is equally absent.
5.                  Ephesians chapter 4 verse 11. Remember that it is still St. Paul that is handing down the order of the Church: “And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers.” KJV.
6.                  From this down you can see that if you go back to the first place where we read, 1st Corinthians 12:28, Pastors and Teachers were not omitted; they were inside. Note, they were inside. They were named among the Prophets, the Apostles and Teachers.
7.                  Now in Ephesians Church, it became more explicit (clear, open). We can now see the Fivefold Ministry fully coming out. Evangelist and Teachers, all clearly written. They have now manifested in their various offices, operating for a particular work, For edification of the Body, for the perfection of the Saints.
8.                  I am going somewhere, follow me gradually. It is teaching. I am not going evangelical.
9.                  Ephesians 2:19-20 said that the Church must be established upon the foundations of the Prophets and Apostles, Christ Himself being the Chief Corner Stone.
10.              Acts chapter 8 verse 18 “And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money...”
11.              In other words, the Apostles are special messengers, specially sent for special purposes. Moreover, a true vindicated Apostle; by laying on of His hand, automatically one receives the Holy Spirit. What is more, He has the power also to impart that same gift into somebody by appointing somebody into the same office to do the same thing which He Himself is doing.
12.              That was why as we go along, St. Paul was able to appoint Timothy to do the same thing; appoint Titus, though they were very young to do the same thing and they did it.
13.              Mark 16:20 said these signs shall follow them that believe. Hebrews 2 verse 4, Bible said that God was confirming what they were doing with signs and wonders following them.
14.              Acts chapter 8 verse 5-18, “Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them. And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them : and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed.
15.              And there was great joy in that city. But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one:
16.              To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God. And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries.
17.              But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.
18.              Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done. Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:
19.              Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost: (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)
20.              Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost. And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money.” KJV.
21.              You have heard the people’s account. Although Philip preached, he had not the power to lay hand on those he baptized that they might receive the Holy Ghost. What he had to do was to send for the Apostles, Peter and John have to rush. Peter left the Church at Jerusalem, John left the Church at Jerusalem and then rushed. By the laying hands on the people, they received the Holy Spirit. The presbyters were no other persons than the Apostles or Elders.
22.              Thus, when you hear the laying hands of the presbyter, it is no other thing than the laying hands of an Elder or Apostle; or a presiding Elder like Peter. In Jerusalem, we can call Peter a presiding Elder, for he presided over all the meetings. Thus, by that you call him a presiding Elder.
23.              Check all the Apostles, there was not even one that referred himself as an Elder except Peter. Not even one person, only Peter. Check your Bible very well. Actually he was an Elder. Yet, there were elders in the Churches. They never came up to say, “We are Elders” or so, so and so; but the same scriptures acknowledged them to be Elders.
24.              For example in Acts 15, when there was a problem over them concerning the position of the Gentiles, the Bible said that Paul came to Jerusalem. When he came down, the Church met. Who met? The Apostles and Elders. They met and discussed on the matter.
25.              Moreover, after Peter spoke, somebody rose up by the name James to confirm what Peter said to be truth. He rose up in the office of an Elder, not in the office of an Apostle. Because as an elderly man, he followed Christ from the very beginning, followed the ministry from the very beginning; so nobody can convince him that Peter was wrong. Nobody can fool James.
26.              An Elder means an Elderly man, not only in age. it means somebody that has grown with the ministry, Somebody that has followed the ministry from the onset that Has a good record and a good conscience towards the ministry, Holding the word of life with a good conscience. hence he is not a novice. he is one that can stand boldly anywhere to declare everything about this faith.
27.              As a result, when it comes to the matter of doctrine, come, sit down with him and he will open your eyes as an Elder. In addition, these are the keepers of the Church. They keep the Church from error. They keep the Church from falling.
28.              Romans chapter 1 verse 11, “For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established.” KJV.
29.              Note, this is the Roman Church. St. Paul was longing to see them so that he may impart into them some spiritual gifts. Now the question arises: Will he manufacture them? He will impart something that is in him. The same way I have imparted the faith that is in Me into you. Because you are sanctified by the faith that is in Me. The same way I am able to impart the same faith in you, the same way I am also able to impart some spiritual gifts that I posses into some of you.
30.              If I have the gift of signs and wonders, I can impart it to you. If I have the gift of prophecy, anything that is in Me, I can impart it into you provided you have believed the message I have preached unto you. Thus, by this message, you are all sanctified.
31.              Before the faith came, you have no faith. Now nobody is shaken again, your faith is fully established. Moreover, it will be more established now when I will impart the gifts that are in Me into you. When you see these things coming into manifestation in the ministry, then you will be more established. Whether I am there or not, you have no problem.
32.              Even if St. Paul is in Macedonia, the Church in Corinth is not shaken. The Church in Ephesus is not shaken: absent in the body but present in the spirit. Because the whole thing that was in him, he has emptied all into earthen vessels, so he can relax.
33.              It is only at that time that St. Paul can confidently tell them, “I am going to my hired apartment.” He can now go back to his hired apartment, and there he will rest. Then if there be any problem, St. Paul from that day became a consultant vested with authority of running the affairs of the Church to the Elders. I will show you that in your Bible.
34.              Any time the ministry came to a point where it is emptied into the hearts of the Apostles, let it be known to you that the man whose life is the ministry is about to pay the price. That is, he is leaving the scene.
35.              This is why you should be more serious now than ever. From the time he did it, which I called a sort of handover; immediately he handed it over, what awaits him was the defence of the ministry in Jerusalem. From there to Rome, he did not come back again. That was all.
36.              In addition, while he was handing over, the last Church he met was Ephesian Church. He told them clearly that they will never see his face again, and they did not see his face again.
37.              I am not handing over to you Church at Onitsha; I do not know where I will hand over last. However, I am beginning in Onitsha Church to ordain Elders. I am beginning in Onitsha Church, something that I will finish somewhere someday.
38.              Second Timothy chapter 1 verse 5-6, “When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also.
39.              Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.” KJV.
40.              Note, by the putting on of my hands. Where? Somewhere, on Timothy. By putting on of hands on Timothy, automatically Timothy was bestowed with the gifts. You see, the faith of Timothy got him all these things. His faithfulness to the Gospel got him all these things.
41.              St. Paul is now putting him in remembrance to stir up what he has gotten from him by the laying on of hands. You see, by and by we must fulfil scripture. Amen.

Now we go to the matter at stake directly. I will take it from the highest office.
2.                  First Timothy chapter 3 verse 1-7 “This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work. A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behavior, given to hospitality, apt to teach; Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;
3.                  One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity; (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)
4.                  Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil. Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.” KJV.
5.                  Titus chapter 1 verse 4-5 “To Titus, mine own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior.
6.                  For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee.” KJV.
7.                  Who appointed him? St. Paul. Appointed him to be what? The same way I have appointed you, so go ye and appoint Elders in every city. Now let us know who these Elders are.
8.                  Verse 6-9, “If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly. For a bishop must be blameless...
9.                  See what the Bible is saying here. Elders are what St. Paul instructed him to appoint. A Bishop must be blameless. In other words, the Elders he is going to appoint are nothing but Bishops.
10.              as the steward of God; not self-willed, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre; But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate;
11.              Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.” KJV.
12.              Have you now seen that Titus was first of all made an Elder, a Bishop. And was now given authority to go and do likewise. Thus, anywhere he goes, he should appoint Elders. What is more, these Elders here are called Bishops. Is it in your Bible?
13.              If any will be blameless this and that, for a Bishop must be blameless—that is verse 7. Those that are vying for the office of Bishop, you know what you are asking for.
14.              Acts of the Apostle chapter 1 verse 21-26, “Wherefore of these men which have companied with us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us,
15.              Beginning from the baptism of John, unto that same day that he was taken up from us, must one be ordained to be a witness with us of his resurrection. And they appointed two, Joseph called Barsabas, who was surnamed Justus, and Matthias.
16.              And they prayed, and said, Thou, Lord, which knowest the hearts of all men, show whether of these two thou hast chosen,
17.              That he may take part of this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place. And they gave forth their lots; and the lot fell upon Matthias; and he was numbered with the eleven apostles.” KJV.
18.              He was immediately numbered with the eleven Apostles at once. Who ordained him? He was ordained, is it like that in your Bible? You see, for every counterfeit there must be original somewhere.
19.              In the Cherubim and Seraphim and other groups, you see them ordaining Apostles. That is counterfeits. It must be scriptural Apostles or else throw it away.
20.              Thus, if we have started with the highest office, we are coming down gradually.
21.              First Timothy chapter 3 verses 1-7, “This is s true saying: if a man is eager to be a Church leader, he desires an excellent work. A Church leader must be without fault; he must have only one wife, be sober, self-controlled and orderly. He must welcome strangers in his home; he must be able to teach.” GNB.
22.              It is a true saying that if a man wants to be a Pastor, he has to have a good ambition. For a Pastor must be a good man whose life cannot be spoken against”. LB.
23.               “Here is a trustworthy saying if any one set his eyes on being an overseer, he deserves a noble task”. NIV.
24.              The saying is true and irrefutable: if any man eagerly seeks the office of bishop superintendent, overseer, he desires an excellent task work”. Amp.
25.              It must take you something. Many that want to be in this office, it require something. An excellent task, you have to task yourself very well. It must cost you something.
26.              You can now see that that position of the Bishop there means Church leader, it means Pastor, it means overseer; it means superintendent, thus this part is irrefutable.
27.              Now I will tell you why the voice said that your present Pastor may soon vacate that office. Because the Bible said if any is faithful, he may deserve a double honour. If we prove him to be faithful to this ministry all these years, by the time his ministry has clocked three years and six months; he may deserve double honour. We will look into the Bible also.
28.              It appears somebody is nodding to what I am saying. Let me go back to the Bishop also, so that you will throw away your Pentecostal idea and Roman Catholic idea that a pastor, or overseer, or bishop will be a general superintendent controlling many Churches, no that is anti-Word.
29.              You do not have anything like that in the Bible, but you can have many Bishops in one Church and a bishop’s authority is limited to his own local Church. He cannot have authority outside his local Church, yet any local Church he visits; he still retains his office.
30.              For example, a Bishop in Onitsha Church, if he goes to a Church in Jos; they will still acknowledge him as a bishop in that Church. They will no longer lay hand on him to ordain him further.
31.              When we finish that office of bishop, we will go back to another office until we have exhausted all of them then I will talk to you. The universal Church is sub-divided into so many local assemblies or congregations.
32.              For example, it is in local congregational sense that St. Paul mentioned “the Churches of Christ salute you” as we can see in Romans chapter 16 verse 16. Referring to many local congregations in a particular area. He addressed the group or Christians in Corinth as the Church of God. As we can see in first Corinthians 1 : 2.
33.              Each local Church is wholly autonomous, independent, self-ruling and it is subject only to the one authority of Christ through His divinely inspired ordained Apostles and Prophets by following their infallible guide which is the Spoken Word.
34.              No other organization exists which binds the Churches together or exercises any authority over them, no central earthly headquarter. No central earthly headquarter from where instructions will come. Remember the message: “Please do not denominate this message after my departure”. Or super Church controlling others, nothing like that.
35.              Even the presence of the Apostle and Elders in the Onitsha Church does not place Onitsha Church higher than any other local Assembly. The Apostle is in Onitsha Church because that is His Church-home. If He is transferred to Jos tomorrow, Jos becomes His Church-home.
36.              In other words, Onitsha will be running to Jos to get messages from the Apostle by way of tapes or circular letters which can be called Epistles.
37.              What determines where the Churches will place their eyes is the presence of the Apostles and Prophets. If I move to Abuja now, all local Churches will have their eyes on Abuja. That was why when St. Paul was in Corinth, the whole Churches fixed their eyes on Corinth, if they must acquaint themselves with the present move of God.
38.              When he left Corinth for Ephesus, the music changed. Everybody was heading to Ephesus to contact St. Paul, to know the present move of God because he is the only one that is divinely sent to fill the divine office of Christ on Earth. Ordaining Elders in the Churches does not mean ostracizing the Apostle from the scene; it does not remove the Apostle from the office.
39.              No matter how He laid hands on you, what you have is what is in him. You do not have what will be in him. What is in Him presently is enough for you and that is what He is imparting in you to enable you administer the Churches; believing that when you have problem, you will send for him because every day there must be something in Him. He cannot be everywhere at the same time.
40.              I am trying to help you lest tomorrow Satan will anoint you: “See that God has made me Apostle through the laying hands of the Apostle. Now there is no need for the Apostle.” Then you denominate and then all of you perish.
41.              Whatever you are getting is by the laying hands of the Apostle, but remember you never lay hand on that Apostle, and the hand that is on the Apostle is constantly on the Apostle but the Apostle’s hand is not constantly on you.
42.              That is why when He comes around He can stir it up. Cut yourself off from Him, you are detaching yourself as a branch from the tree. You wither and perish. You are not the fountain but He is the fountain. You are not feeding Him, but He is feeding you. He is not depending on your life, but you are depending on His life. You are not sanctified by the faith that is in you, but you are sanctified by the faith that is in the Apostle.
43.              I am helping you because experiences have proved to Me that many that come to Onitsha to try to stay with the Apostle but do not want to stay with the Apostle spiritually. They want an occasion to be called. You know I have said that that spirit exists; somebody will say, “How I wish I can eat with you! How I wish I can pass a night with you sir!”
44.              They just want to go home with the testimony that “I ate with the Apostle. You know, I slept in His house. The Apostle gave me His family altar and I preached, do this and that.” That was all he wanted to give. That has become his testimony, salvation nil.
45.              Moreover, if he will say something and somebody will ask question, he will say, “Who are you? Do you know I shook hand with the Apostle? I ate with Apostle, I preached before the Apostle. The Apostle marked it good, who are you?”
46.              That the Apostle marked your preaching good, can that shield you from the spirit of error? You can err. That you slept with the Apostle and ate with the Apostle, does that mean your salvation? Is that eternal security? Is that everlasting security. Amen.

Please be very careful. That is why I am not in a haste to lay hands and I have been patient all these years trying to see that everybody has become a believer enough. That my laying hands on you, appointing you to one office or the other will not puff you up. That pride will not come up. That is why I want to bring you up to a level where you will no longer be a novice.
2.                  Remember I have told you that every local Church must be wholly autonomous, no central earthly headquarters or super Church over others. All these local Churches which formed the invincible universal Church, the mystic Body of Christ our Lord are bound by ONE FAITH, ONE DOCTRINE as we can see in Ephesians 4 verse 1 to 6; Second Corinthians 8 verse 24, Romans 15 verse 22.
3.                  They are identified by their identical name, they bear identical name, identical doctrine and practices, conduct and order. Moreover, any sign of division among them is regarded as sinful. As we can see in first Corinthians chapter 1 verse 10-13, 1st Corinthians chapter 3 verse 3. This is made possible because, each local Church follows the leadership of the same head. That same head, the only head is no other person but Christ.
4.                  Colossians chapter 1 verse 18 “And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.” KJV.
5.                  All of us, all the local Churches are founded in the same foundation. Hence, no other foundation can any man lay.
6.                  First Corinthian 3 verse 11 “For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.”  KJV.
7.                  Second Timothy 3 verse 15 through 17, “And that from a child thou hast known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
8.                  All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.” KJV.
9.                  God in His wisdom has made it perfect in this arrangement. For example, if one Church like the Church at Abuja or Isiala-Ngwa becomes corrupt with evil practices and false doctrines, others will not be affected. However, if you locked all of them with a central headquarter; the moment the headquarter is corrupt, the whole system becomes corrupt.
10.              There is no way we can talk of the Church without mentioning members. Thus, in the case of Elders or Bishops, overseers, superintendents, or Pastors as we can see from our different translations of the Bible; they are all referring to the same thing but differentiated by the works that are assigned to any Elder in the Church.
11.              The office an Elder occupies in the Church is determined by his work in the Church or by the nature of his work in the Church.
12.               In the early Church, each local congregation selected his own leaders who were old elders. Now, let us go back to the Bible once again to see whether there is any position at all for Elders. Whether there is any need for a man divinely appointed to have rule over the Church. Because we have been seeing that Christ is the Overseer, the Head and now He has emptied Himself in the Apostles and Prophets. Now the Prophets and Apostle can empty whatever they have to the Elders.
13.              These Elders are to have the rule over the Churches by way of feeding them with doctrines, taking good care of them in their necessities and afflictions.
14.              Remember it is not the Pastor that will feed you with doctrine, feed you in the time of necessity with all that you need. There must be other offices also. I will now show you that it is in the office of the Bishop to administer gift to the Church.
15.              If there are some needy brethren in the Church, Apostle decided that this gift would be given to the Bishops. They are to arrange for them, see to them and do everything about them. You will see it from your Bible in the Acts of the Apostles. Moreover, you see the office of the Deacons also.
16.              If Deacons control money, then Judas was a Deacon. Nevertheless, Judas was not a Deacon. I will show you the meaning of Deacon. Remember I am not saying what William Branham said. I am saying what He said. William Branham was not He.
17.              Hebrews chapter 13 verse 7, “Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.” KJV.
18.              Remember them that have the rule over you, who have spoken to you the word of truth: whose faith you follow. They did not develop their own faith behind. Thus, when they are speaking to you, they were speaking to themselves also
19.              Verse 17, “Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.” KJV.
20.              Leadership is ordained of God, it is of the necessity that there must be human beings that God will be vested with authority to rule you. So that you will not come here and say thank you it is not denominational, I can walk anyhow and talk anyhow. Not here.
21.              There are people that will give account of you before God, somebody is here that will give account of you before God. In addition, the word there is plural: “them that have the rule.”—T.H.E.M. They could be many that have that authority. Hence I believe in division of labour; Christ preaching through division of labour.
22.              Understanding the message is our problem. Obey them that have the rule over you that they might do the work with joy. Moreover, they are the people that will give account of you here before God. In other words, their recommendation concerning you is final.
23.              I liken it to an office, no matter how you say you hate your master, you hate your boss. As far as he is the one that will write your confidential report, you are in trouble. Whatever he puts down in the confidential report is final.
24.              Now, government knows very well that man by nature will like to object, so they created room for objection. If you do not agree with your boss, comment. Whatever you are commenting is nonsense. All that have ever commented in that column, it earns them demotion and transfer. If you dare write anything that your boss hates you, that he does not like your face; that he does not do this and that, who are you?
25.              You are equally discrediting the man that is reading it. The man is placing himself in the position of your boss; after all, he is also somebody who is taking salary. He knows that you are a stubborn officer, that if he is to control you, you will equally write the same thing.
26.              For that reason, he will make his remark there: “Please do not promote him. Transfer him to the worst area.” You might be thinking that you wrote something good, “I have written this and that.” Then when your mates are promoted, you will be dropped, in that dropping you will also get a letter of transfer. If you object, you resign.
27.              In other words, his recommendation is final. Church of God be spiritual. Natural things type spiritual. That God is saying these people are overseers over you, they have rule over you. That you must obey them, obey them that they might do their work with joy. Remember that they must give account of you before God.
28.              Hence, if you are in the Church, and God has decided to make them overseer, if they say you are stubborn and stiff-necked; that is final before God. Whatever they recommend to God concerning you is final. You cannot say, “God, you know Pastor hates me, Apostle hates me; Evangelist hates me!” That is rubbish. He is the man God has decided to appoint to look over you, his recommendation is final.
29.              It is the same with husband and wife affair. Whatever the husband recommends to God concerning his wife is final. If you like cry from here to the next world, you are wasting your time. If your husband says you are stubborn and disobedient, God marks it immediately because when you are serving your husband, you are serving God.
30.              The only god you can see physically staying everyday with you is your husband. Any of your reaction to your husband, you are not reacting to the man; you are reacting to God. Is it not Bible? Unless you are writing a new Bible right now. If you want to cancel it, cancel it in your own. It is hard now to believe.
31.              That is why at times I shake my head, if they really know where they are and the type of message they are called into, nobody will ever persuade you to behave rightly. Nobody will ever even ask you what I am building. Because all you have been building all these years, in one second, you can destroy all. Because from that time you become stubborn, disobedient; arrogant, all your past good records are erased. All, not even one is left.
32.              Any day your eyes open and recognize your foolishness, you start afresh to create another record. You cannot be passing on the old record, you have completely erased them. Is it scriptural? Yes.
33.              Now these people that have the rule over you, they write your confidential report before Almighty God. If you want to score “A” everywhere which will give you excellent, it is in your hand. All you have to do is to obey them with all your heart. If you want to score C, D, E, F; it is all in your hands. Your hundred percent plus is in your hands. That is when you have fully obeyed all that they have taught you hundred percent plus.
34.              Your ninety percent, your seventy percent, your eighty percent, your thirty percent, your ten percent; even minus one percent is all in your hands. Let us see whether double honour is scriptural.
35.              First Timothy 5 verse 17, “Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially they who labor in the word and doctrine.” KJV.
36.              Be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine. You see why I threw it open for our Pastor to vie for it. Not only to him alone, I know there are many people in this Church that are qualified for Pastors, qualified for Elders. Now he has been occupying that office all along for three years and six months. If he vies for double honour, is it a crime? That is why I have been using the word “he may,” and then “climb higher.”
37.              You see why denomination is of the Devil! Because when you are in a denomination, you glue yourself to the doctrine of your general superintendent, who with his devilish doctrine will scare everybody away to build a kingdom unto himself. Selfishness, because he knows he is empty, he does not want somebody that has spiritual gift lest his office will be challenged.
38.              However, if you are ordained of God that came down from Heaven, you will walk according to the teachings of the Holy Ghost. You will spread your arms for Christ Himself said that the vineyard is very wide but the labourers are few.
39.              We have been praying for Apostles all these years, now we are going to have Apostles. If in the Churches the Bible said Apostles, plural, we must have Apostles.
40.              In other to have Apostles, the Apostle has to ordain Apostles. There is no record in the Bible of what Matthias preached, even if it meant sitting down only to say yes, yes, he has justified the office.
41.              Check the Bible, if the Bible recorded what the Apostle said, nobody will carry the Bible. There were people that were Apostles who were saying “Yes, it is true! We were there.”
42.              That is why we are not a denomination, we do not make a new movement. If it is Brother Odoemena’s movement, by now you would have build one synagogue for me where nobody will be seeing me until you fill your card and then we book a date on the telephone and so on. Relaxing in one decorated office, watching all the messages he preached everywhere in the television and so on, and will never allow anybody to come nearer.
43.              Go to Paul Nweke’s group, even his second in command, you can never near him lest you will understand his secret. However, in the Apostolic ministry, it is not a selfish ministry. A true Apostle of God will impart what is in him into others. After all he never bought it. It was divinely given to Him freely. The same way he will divinely give it free to others.
44.              This is the message I have been waiting for. Until I have brought you to this level where laying hand of the presbytery will not make you higher than any brother or any sister in this Church. Because you have learnt a lot from Me.
45.              I think if there should be any man that can boast, I think I have every reason to boast. God has bestowed everything that will make me boast, be proud and arrogant. HOWEVER, if I have humbleD myself all these years in your midst, taking my time, walking consciously with you, The same way I am going to tell you today and even forever: That which you have seen in me, that which you have learnt from me; do it.
46.              That is what God is expecting from this Church and then by that we have fulfilled all righteousness. I am coming closer to something.
47.              You know when the people of Israel were without priest, you know they were behaving anyhow. Some were even hiring priests, paying them some fees. Some even marry wives for them as the only way for them to continue. They hired a deliverance. When there were no Churches, people were behaving anyhow.
48.              When we longed for people to vie for positions in the Church we could not see, we decided to appoint young men like Brother Dan and Emma Ejimnkonye simply because they have been faithful to the ministry and have followed from the very beginning but not minding the qualification for the office.
49.              That time, we never gave them any name. From this day, we are erasing completely that thing “trustee.” Trustee is worldly sound, that you will go to your village meeting. In the Church, the word “trustee” is not mentioned. When you mention trustee, you go to Deeper Life Church, there they have trustee board that registers their Churches.
50.              William Branham had Trustees Board because he has his own personal Church. William Branham ran a denomination, had his Church earthly headquarters, and was controlling his own Church. He never called it Church of God, he called it The Branham’s Tabernacle; and indeed it was his property. The Board of Trustees, he registered it even with American government: “The Branham Tabernacle Incorporated.”
51.               Thank God, we have living witnesses. However, in this most holy Faith, we are not running Branham’s Tabernacle. We are not Branhamites, we are children of God. Branhamites will contend for Branham, children of God will contend for Christ.
52.              Branham pointed us to Christ, when we saw Christ, we abandoned Branham and followed Christ. The man in the grave will no longer save me. Adherents to Branham means adherents to St. Paul and Peter in the grave. People are blind; you become Roman Catholic yet not knowing it.
53.              If William Branham is alive till today, will he close his mouth? He will keep on preaching. That is what we need.
54.              When the Church come to a point where they can look back...the Brother in the pulpit preaching, looking into the Churches he could see pillars he cannot deceive because it is the presence of the pillars, that will make him to speak the last truth even if the truth is against him because he can deceive everybody but he cannot deceive the pillars.
55.              The presence of the pillars in the Church will give him enough courage and boldness to declare all. If it means packing him out of the Church, they will pack him out.
56.              We have come to a point where we cannot fool anybody in this Church; even men and women alike. You cannot fool our sisters in this Church again. You can fool every other person not Sister Phebe, you cannot fool Sister Susana. Many of them that worked with St. Paul, you cannot fool anybody there. Never, never. Because they were not permitted to preach. Look at a whole Sister Priscilla and the husband. Watch them, Apollos could not shake them, Apollos was making like Brother Charles: “See me, see me;” and you see the sister looking at the husband saying, “See this boy, maybe this boy is coming to confront us.”
57.              After making all that, he will be asking, “Do you believe in baptism? Can I baptise you now?” “My friend, sit down, thank you. Do not worry. No I do not do like that, this is Son of Man’s ministry.” “Do you believe in the spoken word ministry?” Not knowing that the family has been grounded and rooted.
58.              After making all that, they said to him to sit down, the Bible said that they expounded the understanding and the man’s eyes opened. Before he knew it he said, “I have never had this one.” “Can you follow me? Just follow me, follow me I will redirect your footstep if you are sincere.” Apollos followed immediately. Amen.

We are going further. For our Pastor to vie for double honour is not a crime. all I am trying to do is to tell him the scriptural truth I know.
2.                  If you are a Pastor, overseer, superintendent in any of the Churches; even if you are Deacon, a Deacon can vie for double honour. If you are a Deacon in the Church and then you know you can occupy the post of a Pastor; then vie for it.
3.                  Compare to this faith, compare to higher height and strive. Do not compare outside the scripture. Qualification for a Bishop is qualification for a believer except one. Even that one you say “except,” I will say without exception. Unless you have the same gift with St. Paul, you must marry.
4.                  If you do not have the same gift with St. Paul, you must defile sister Phebe. Covet the spiritual gift that was in St. Paul the Apostle, unless you must by and by lust after Sister Phebe. Paul holding an Elderly meeting said, “If you can abstain like me, do, but to avoid lust and fornication let every man have his own wife”.
5.                  Even among the married, is it easy to avoid even lust? Is it easy to avoid adultery? Let alone of a man who said he does not want to marry. You can escape it when you are in the Church, can you escape it on the street? Can you escape it on the highway, in the vehicle, in the market place?
6.                  That Bishopric office is what we are considering still.
7.                  Acts 14 verse 23, “And when they had ordained them elders in every church, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, on whom they believed.” KJV.
8.                  When they have ordained them Elders, they commended them unto the Lord whom they believe.
9.                  Philippians 1 verse 1 “Paul and Timothy, the servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus which are at Philippi, with the bishops and deacons.
10.              Note, with the Bishops in Philippi Church. Paul and Timothy writing to who? Bishops and Deacons in Philippians Church. So prove me, judge me if I point you outside the order that is set for the Church provided there is a leading order.
11.              That must be the master plan. The written order is the building plan. The structure must be built in that way. No addition, no subtraction. Bishops, I have told you what Bishop is all about. Did it say one Bishop? Bishops plural, Deacons, plural.
12.              You see why I have been telling you from the beginning of this ministry to ordain Jesuses. If I have been selfish, from the time this ministry began, many of you that followed from the very beginning would have noticed it. However, I feel that many have made up their minds to run away from the pulpit to the point that I will be going there to bail.
13.              Who will go to the pulpit? Nobody wants to go to the pulpit. But in End-time message, everybody was scrambling for the pulpit. When the Reality came down, they ran away. Nobody wants to approach it again. Even to lead in song, nobody has sweet voice again. However, to the Church in Philippi, it is being fortified by Bishops and Deacons.
14.              Thus that word Bishops and Deacons there summarises the whole thing. If there is anybody called Pastor, Evangelist and this and that. So by Bishop he summarises it. The same way they ordained Elders and commended them unto the Lord in whom they believed—Elders, Bishops.
15.              In Ephesians 4 verse 11, that is the only place you can see the Pastors included because it was a real definition of the Fivefold Ministry.
16.              Now Elders, Bishops, Pastors refer to the same office as we can now see in Acts 20 verse 17. “And from Miletus he sent to Ephesus, and called the elders of the Church”.
17.              And called who? The Elders of the Church.
18.              Verse 28 “Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the Church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood”.
19.              Have made you what? Overseers; plural. In other words, where the Holy Ghost has made you Bishops, where the Holy Ghost has made you Elders, where the Holy Ghost has made shepherds, Pastors.
20.               I am putting to rest once and forever this issue of the difference between Elder, Bishop, Pastor, Superintendent, overseer and shepherd. The same way we have put to rest “who is Son of God,” “Rose of Sharon,” “Lily of the Valley,” “the Bright and Morning Star,” “Mighty God,’ ‘King of kings,” “Lord of lords,” “Prince of Peace;” the same way I have put this one to rest.
21.              Remember teaching is the backbone of every Church. We are not the counterfeit Church that said that the age of the Apostles is over. Apostles will keep on coming.
22.              Note, “I will send Apostles and Prophets,” plural. Apart from that you could see that there were Apostles that were in the faith even before St. Paul, that were not numbered among the twelve. We could also see there were Apostles and Prophets even while St. Paul was on the scene in other Churches.
23.              Even in Corinth, there were Apostles, there were Prophets even while St. Paul was on the scene. We could see that even Silas that accompanied St. Paul was a Prophet according to the Bible.
24.               “Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the Church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood”. KJV.
25.              Titus 1 verse 5-7 is very clear about the matter that is qualification for that Bishop. First Peter 5 verse 1-4: “The elders which are among you I exhort...
26.              The Elders that are among you, the Bishops, Overseers, Pastors I exhort. …Who am also an elder...” Who? Myself!
27.              It is just like many in this Church, if they will sail through; writing a letter to Jos, exhorting Brethren in Jos, directing them; if I happened to be an Apostle and I am present in Onitsha and there is no Pastor in Onitsha, then I have the power to write similar letters to them. St. Peter was writing similar letters to other Churches, to the Elders that were among them which he himself was also an Elder.
28.              “…and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed: Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;
29.              Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being examples to the flock.
30.              You live by examples. In other words, you must be an example to all the believers.
31.              And when the chief Shepherd shall appear,
32.              Who is the Good Shepherd? Christ. You are shepherds, but He is the Chief Shepherd. You are Pastors, He is the Chief Pastor. You are Bishops, He is the ArchBishop.
33.              If He is an Archangel, He is an Archbishop. You are ordinary shepherds, He is the Chief Shepherd. You are ordinary Bishop, He is the Chief Bishop.
34.              Verse 4, “And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.” KJV.
35.              First Timothy 3 verse 6, “Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil.” KJV.
36.              That is the qualification, you cannot be a novice. You must be somebody that is well taught, experienced, courageous, bold, not nervous like Brother Emma Ejimnkonye, Brother Sebastian and Brother Goddy. You must not be nervous.
37.              A man is nervous when he is not sure OF what he is declaring. When you are sure and confidenT of what you are saying, you can never be nervous. If you are nervous while speaking to your own people that know you very well, you are speaking to your family, how will you feel when you are paraded outside? You betray the faith immediately.
38.              Because when you are paraded outside, men and women, young and old sneering at you; maybe by that time you became a stammer, or maybe you close your mouth, you will be looking at them as if you are deceived. Remember the spirit God has given to us is not the spirit of fear; it is the spirit of boldness.
39.              Another thing that makes a man to lose his boldness is when he is not living the life of the message. When you are sure you are living the life of the gospel you have received, you can boldly go there and say, “who can condemn me of sin?” after all your condemnation will start from among your brethren. If your brethren that know you very well, that walk closely to you everyday cannot CONDEMN you, who can condemn you outside?
40.              You know I am closest to you than people outside, do you know that? Now, if you cannot condemn me, who can condemn Me? Nobody can condemn Me. That is why we stand in the pulpit to be judged of all. Every teacher in the pulpit is standing before judgement. Thus, we live by example. Not by telling others, we lead and others will follow. Elders, note it.
41.              I do not know who and who that are vying for the office, but maybe you never knew that somebody will nominate you. Because I say nomination, and brethren started nominating and the result is here. The whole thing was concluded. I will announce the result and tell you even the date or even do it now. Whichever way I am led at the end, for the end shall declare all things.
42.              Remember after ordaining the Elders, they were commended to God in whom they have believed. Underline all these nuggets. If they believe Paul, any day Paul makes a mistake, they will follow the mistake of Paul. If they believed Peter, any day Peter denies Christ; they will all deny Christ.
43.              However, if they believe God and they are certain they believe God, as long as God is still leading them right, they will keep on following God.
44.              I am coming closer. Have you now seen the picture of the Bishop that is not even one Bishop in one Church or one Bishop overseeing the activities of many Churches? Rather, many Bishops helping to strengthen a local Church. Yet, nobody has over riding power over the other. Nobody said, “I am a super Pastor, I am a super overseer; I am this,” no.
45.               Even one that has double honour, he had it to his own credit not to make it a special one.
46.              Bishop means nothing but an overseer or supervisor. Pastor means shepherd—that is the work they are doing. This shepherd describes the work of feeding the Church spiritually and guIding HER from error.
47.              I am separating the two now. What should be their duty in the Church? If you are a Bishop in the Church, you are a supervisor in the Church. You are a superintendent in the Church, you are an overseer. an Overseer is one that has rule over the Church, one that has authority to look after the activities in the Church. In other words, you cannot sit on the fence. You are co-labourers.
48.              Thus, while you are in the Church, you cannot say “I am not the Pastor of the Church, let me sit down.” You cannot claim you are indifferent to what is happening. You are part and parcel, you are concerned. If this Church fails, you failed. If this Church succeeds, you succeeded. Thus, you now see yourself as somebody that has a big work in the House of God. You encourage the Church in every way.
49.              Whatever is in your powers scripturally to do, to make sure that this Church does not fall away from the faith, that is your major concern. HENCE, you cannot leave it in the hand of one person. While the Pastor has the duty of feeding the Church with the word.
50.              Whoever that has taken this office, be very careful now. Pastors, shepherd has the work of feeding the Church spiritually, guiding her from error. As we can see from Acts 20 verses 28-31 and 1st Peter 1 verses 1-2; the qualifications we have read it over and over and I do not think there is any need of continuing reading it again.
51.              Each local Church has more than one Elder or Bishop in the Bible. As we can see in Acts 14:23, 20:17 and Titus 1:5. Philippians 1:1. In the whole Bible, never does the Bible mention one Bishop over many Churches, rather many Bishops over one Church.
52.              There is no place the Bible recorded one Bishop over many Churches. However, you see many Bishops over one Church. The Bishop has authority only in the local Church where they are appointed as we can see from 1st Peter 5:2. All of them must be considered equal, nobody should be considered higher than the other by reason of knowledge or wisdom or spiritual healing, no.
53.              Christ only is the Chief Shepherd, Chief Bishop, Chief Pastor, Chief Superintended and Overseer. All of them together with the entire congregations are subject to the Chief Shepherd which is the Word of God.
54.              That is the post of the Bishop. You can now see that the post of a Bishop has taken Me more time than the post of Apostles and Prophets. In the case of a Prophet, it is just a divine office. One is divinely inspired by the Holy Spirit and speaks the mind of God.
55.              Thus, if you have such a gift, please do not quench it, rather allow the Holy Spirit to push it out. If you quench it, you will be guilty for withholding prophecy. How does it come? It comes in a supernatural way.
56.              Maybe while you are praying or praising God or meditating, before you know it a supernatural thing will happen in you, taking you up. Before you know it, you see your mouth opening. Something deep, pressing hard in you will start coming out. Release it, it is not for you to judge; we are to judge. You are not to judge, but we are to judge.
57.              That is why we have Elders, we have Apostles. Thus, by the time we ordain these Elders, the Church will no longer be afraid of Bishop or this or that.
58.              If you have a dream, narrate your dream. You have a vision, narrate your vision. You have a prophecy, prophesy and the Church will no longer go into captivity. Already, there are many Elders that have been trusted and bestowed with apostolic gift who will judge all things. Amen.

Now, we go to another office, I will not finish it because if I will finish it I will go down to teachers, Evangelist and even to members. However, if I would touch Deacons exhaustively, I can stop there—something that you will have the rest even in your jotters. Let us go to Deacons.
2.                  I have a tape already in your library, which I titled “The Making of a Deacon”. The making of a Deacon, how I wish somebody can go through that message and you will enrich yourself.
3.                  First Timothy chapter 3 verse 8-13, “Likewise must the deacons be grave, not doubletongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre;
4.                  Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience. And let these also first be proved; then let them use the office of a deacon, being found blameless.
5.                  Even so must their wives be grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things. Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife...
6.                  Have you noticed that the qualification for a Deacon included that of wife, but the qualification of the Elder, it never mentioned wife?
7.                  He said the man must be a husband of one wife, able to rule his own family. However, in the Deacon, after attaining a man’s qualification, the Bible went further to pick the wife. Now I am saying that the office of the Deacon in a Church deserves more respect than the office of the Elders.  In other words, the office of the Deacon is stricter than the office of the Pastor.
8.                  You see why a Deacon is one that can check the excesses of the ministers. Any Church that does not have Deacon, ministers can behave anyhow and get away with it. Because it is in the hand of the Deacon to call the minister to order, where they do not want to obey, Deacons will report them to Apostle who will immediately subject them to punishment; either by removing them from the offices, or by excommunicating them.
9.                  Nevertheless, as for Elders, you cannot bring any accusation to any of them unless there are two or three witnesses.
10.              You do not bring any accusation against an Elder through hearsay: “I heard, they said, they told me;” no. There must be two or three eyewitnesses or else close your mouth. Do not speak because they are God’s mouth in the Church. They have rule over you, if you talk against them you are plotting coup. It is military coup, and the punishment is excommunication. They pack you out immediately, hand you over to Satan and there you die.
11.              Look at the Deacon, if I must covet any office in the Church, I love this office Deacon. An office where I will sit down and tell my wife saying, “Madam, look at this one, have you obeyed this one? Tell me.”
12.              Verse 12-13: “Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well.
13.              13 For they that have used the office of a deacon well purchase to themselves a good degree, and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus.” KJV.
14.              A good degree and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ. Remember they must be tested and rooted that they may fare well in the office. In addition, when they fare well in that office, discharge their duties very well; they have boldness and good degree.
15.              First Timothy 3 verses 8-13, “The Deacons must be the set sort of good steady men as the ministers...
16.              Note, good steady men as the ministers. Minister there means Elders, Bishop. Good and stable, not dancing about.
17.              They must not be heavy drinkers and must not be greedy for money. They must be earnest wholehearted followers of Christ who is the hidden Source of their faith. Before they are asked to be Deacons...
18.              Wholehearted, followers of Christ, not following Christ and following another thing. People that follow Christ with their whole heart.
19.              “…Who is the hidden Source of their faith. Before they are asked to be Deacons they should be given other jobs in the Church as a test of good character and ability, and if they do well, then they may be chosen as Deacons.
20.              Their wives must be thoughtful, not heavy drinkers, not gossipers but faithful in everything they do. Deacons should have only one wife and they should have happy, obedient families.
21.              Those who do well as Deacons will be well rewarded both by respect of others and also by developing their own confidence and bold trust in the Lord”. LB.
22.              First Timothy 3 verses 8-13, “Church helpers must have a good character and be sincere. They must not drink too much wine or be greedy for money. They should hold to the revealed truth of the faith with a clear conscience.
23.              They should be tested first, and then, if they pass the test, they are to serve. Their wife also must be of good character and must not gossip; they must be sober and honest in everything. A Church helper must have only one wife and be able to manage his children and family well.” GNB.
24.              We thank God for these scriptures. The issue of Deacons should not be over flogged because we have ordained one and eventually I stepped him down when he fell into error. When he repented and I was satisfied that he has already repented fully, I restored him back to that office. I believe his wife is marching on also.
25.              Please if you have time play that tape on “The making of a Deacon” as many as are vying for that office.” Play the tape, it will help you to measure up very well.
26.              Now, walking under the Elders is the Deacon and their qualification can be seen in first Timothy 3:8-13. Deacon means nothing but a servant or a helper.
27.              They perform special services such as the one in Acts of the Apostles chapter 6 verse 1-6, “And in those days, when the number of the disciples were multiplied, there arose a murmuring of the Grecians against the Hebrews, because their widows were neglected in the daily ministration.
28.              Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables.
29.              Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business. But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.
30.              And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch:
31.              Whom they set before the apostles: and when they had prayed, they laid their hands on them.”. KJV.
32.              These things happened when the Church could number over three thousand because they were one hundred and twenty in the Upper Room when the Holy Ghost fell down after St. Peter preached a Gospel, about three thousand believed, they were baptised and added to the Church.
33.              Thus, the number got swollen up to over three thousand one hundred and twenty; and as they continued, the Bible said that God added to the Church daily as many as should be saved.
34.              Hence, the number continued increasing until problem came up in the Church. Then from among those that were with them from the very beginning out of the one hundred and twenty seven with honest report, were chosen to fill the gaps of Deacons in the Church that was the Church in Jerusalem.
35.              In other words, we can rightly say that the Church in Jerusalem has seven Deacons filled with the Holy Spirit and with honest report. That is not a standard for the Church at Abuja to have seven Deacons, neither is it a standard for the Church at Onitsha to have seven Deacons.
36.              The population of the Church coupled with the problem in the Church will determine the number of Deacons. For example, a Church that has about ten persons cannot have seven Deacons. Do you know that? We are not using position to ask you to stay in the Church or to believe. You have already believed and continued in the faith for years before you were recognized and then ordained Deacon.
37.              Nevertheless, in the counterfeit Church in the end-time message, they use position to ask people to stay. Once you come in, overnight you become a Deacon so that you will not run away. You will be feeding there with their tithes.
38.              However, any day you said you are in Fivefold Ministry, they can give you Deacon but not Fivefold Ministry lest you will contend with them over tithe. It takes a Deacon to collect tithe and give them.
39.              Nevertheless, if you dare come in so that they will share with you, no way. Who made you Fivefold Minister? For Deacon office, they can ordain twenty Deacons in one Church.
40.              In Jerusalem, the numbers of Deacons will be determined by the population of this Church and the amount of problems we are having over carnal matters.
41.              Remember, they are helpers that will help ministers by taking good care of the Church over material things; to give ministers enough room to feed the flock with the Word of God which is spiritual food. This is division of labour: Deacons will take care of material things while the other group will take care of spiritual things and the two will balance up. Anyone that fails to do his work will be dragging the hand of the clock back.
42.              Remember it is among the ministers that I will now take out one who will write on behalf of the Church. Not all the Apostles wrote the Bible, yet all of them quote the Bible.
43.              Matthew, Mark, Luke and John represented all of them by putting their minds in the Bible. Thus, anybody coming to write will be a repetition because by the witnesses of two or three, the truth will be established but they were more than three.
44.              I wonder if Bartholomew will want to write, what will he write? If Andrew wanted to write, what will he write? If Nathanial or Matthias wanted to write, what will he write? It is just like somebody rising up when Peter spoke, James and some Elders confirming and then Matthew will now raise up his hand. What will he be saying? Will he be contradicting the order?
45.              Others are there to say “that is how we heard it” because the letter they wrote carries the signatures of the Elders. Everybody put his hand there because he said “we and the Holy Ghost” have agreed. Plural! We! So that we, their names were there.
46.              What is more, the Bible said that when the latter Church heard the whole thing, they glorified God. They continued reading it in all the Churches in the Gentiles. It was not limited to one particular Church alone.
47.              That was why St. Paul said, “What I teach in Corinthian Church, that I teach in all the Churches in the nation.”
48.              THUS, the issue of THE Deacon should not be over flogGED here. all you have to notice is a strict office and they must be very, many in one Church. Not one only, they can be two, or three, or four depending on the problem and numbers of the Church; Helping the ministers in the Church in a divinely way and they are to act as a police men in the Church.
49.              The moment we have Deacons in the Church, the issue of ushers will be phased out. There is no usher in the Bible, the work of usher is the work of policeman and a policeman in the Church means a Deacon because he is to oversee the Church. By overseeing the Church, he will not overlook new comers, or visitors, or strangers.
50.              Thus, for you to covet that office because the Bible said you must vie for it, You can now weigh yourselves.
51.              Evangelist, the manifestation is the interpretation. I am yet to see one Evangelist in this Church. One is yet to manifest. I only hear people saying “I have it as a gift,” but I am certain I will not wait any longer rather I will ordain somebody and some people, ask them to do the work of Evangelist.
52.              I have the authority to lay hands on somebody and command him to do the work of an Evangelist, seeing that nobody is coming up for it. If I am led by the Holy Ghost and I see a manifestation of such a thing in somebody, nothing will restrain my hand from ordaining the person and ask him to do the work of an Evangelist.
53.              Evangelist is nothing but a proclaimer of Good News, somebody who will carry this Gospel to the whole corners of the Earth. Evangelist means a fisherman, he will bring the fish inside the Church and the Elders in the Church will dry the fish and preserve it. Their duty is just to go out preach the Word to people, when they baptise people they will ask the Apostle to lay hand on the people.
54.              By laying of hand, the people will now be pointed to the Church. This is a city, and we need more Evangelists than Elders. But in this Church, nobody is willing to volunteer himself. People that indicated their intentions, a little while you see the whole thing dying down. I say God have mercy.
55.              For you to be an Evangelist, you must first of all be a child of God. Moreover, the qualification for Evangelist is qualification for a child of God: Somebody that will publicly and privately preach the Gospel.
56.              Second Timothy 4 verse 2-5, “Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
57.              For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
58.              And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.” KJV.
59.              It is very necessary because a time is coming when people will no longer endure sound doctrine. It is the duty of the Evangelist to carry this Gospel outside and knock off all these false, false teachings, false preaching that are gaining ground.
60.              It is the duty of the Evangelist to go out and get people convinced that Christ is Almighty God. Baptise them again and then bring them into the Church for us to teach them the doctrines of God. An Evangelist is not an Elder, and can never be referred to as such.
61.              In the absence of the Pastors, that is Elders; the Deacon controls the Church. If there are no Elders in the Church, the Deacons will control the Church because they are conversant with the doctrines of the Church; they hold the faith with a pure conscience and they are not noticed.
62.              Concerning the Teachers, the Teacher’s office is a sensitive one. He is to explain word for word, line-by-line, precept upon precept the teachings and doctrines of the Church to the understanding of every members of the Church. He is to lower it, make it in a such a way, in any language he want that nobody will be kept in the dark. That is the duty of a teacher.
63.              For that reason, his qualification is that he must be one that has gift, knowledge of the scripture and must be asked to teach. What is more, he must possess a very good character. If a Teacher has a bad character, he will impart that character into the congregation.
64.              In other words, he must be a child of God before he becomes a Teacher.
65.              James chapter 3 verse 1, “My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.” KJV.
66.              Verse 13 through 18, “Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? Let him show out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.
67.              But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
68.              But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.” KJV.
69.              Hebrews chapter 5 verse 12, “For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.” KJV.
70.              The rest of the members of the Church are regarded as members of the Church. They are believers and their duties are to obey them that have the rule over them that they might do the work with joy; to encourage them and to co-operate with them by obeying every instruction. However, where you walk contrary, you frustrate them.
71.              Acts chapter 11 verse 29-30, “Then the disciples, every man according to his ability, determined to send relief unto the brethren which dwelt in Judaea: Which also they did, and sent it to the elders by the hands of Barnabas and Saul”.” KJV.
72.              They send it to the Elders by the hands of Barnabas and Saul. All the disciples, they said that everybody was determined to send something. Not by persuasion, they have already heard the problems of other brethren outside their own local Church, and every brother, every sister, they all make up the disciples, the followers of the faith.
73.              The Bible said that they were all determined as individuals to send something. In addition, that they did it by sending those things to the Elders by the hands of Saul and Barnabas. That is Bible.
74.              Thus, if we are in problem here and another Local Assembly wants to come to our rescue, they will send those gifts to this Church through the Elders of this Church. The Elders will acknowledge and receive those gifts on behalf of the Apostle and then the Deacons will now know how to handle those things.
75.              By this, I have come to the end of this teaching on the administrative setup of the Church.
76.              I have made it so clear that every person in the Church now knows where he belongs to. The Church secretary must not be appointed by the Pastor, he must be a minister also like the Pastor; an Elder that has followed this message from the very beginning, that is not a novice also. That can pen down on behalf of the rest of Elders what God is doing in the Church or in the Bride; so that any other Brother of Sister will not be tempted to write further.
77.              Because by that writing, he has represented everything, another person writing will be a repetition.
78.              Concerning the Apostle also, the Pastor cannot pick a secretary for the Apostle also. The Apostle has the right to choose anybody either Timothy or Silvanus to accompany him and to write on his behalf.
79.              The Apostle has the right to choose from among the ministers also, to choose from among the Elders or to make even a fresh choice, one that will accompany him.
80.              Already, I have made my choice, which God Himself chose and confirmed him before all of you; so I am not making another choice. He is to record events as we continue. Besides, if I want him to write, I will dictate letters to him which he can send out even in my Name and you know him as our Brother John the beloved.
81.              That will not stop Me also from making use of the Bishops or Elders in writing some other things that maybe very important to other Churches or to the whole world.
82.              From now, somebody that has been featuring in this office can now vie for double honour. Moreover, vying for double honour will not be vying for maybe Elder because already he is an Elder.
83.               On this note, I say remain in your sanctified estate, remain blessed in Him eternally. Amen.
